New CSA options
Sign up for a weekly box of curated farm fresh product. This year our CSA runs for 25 weeks in the main season, with a plan to offer an additional 12 week winter CSA starting in November. We have added chicken and eggs to the items you can have included in your weekly farm food box. Add chicken and eggs to any base CSA or buy alone.
Our Snowy River Farms free range, pasture raised chicken and eggs are raised with the best quality feed and care possible providing the highest quality of protein you can find in the city.
Delivery
We are pleased to offer a limited number of 10 delivery shares. We will deliver generally on Sunday afternoon or Wednesday evening at an extra cost of $9 per week.

More about our 2026 CSA Season
In Spring we go from spinach, spring onion, baby turnip(hakurei), arugula, the best lettuce, brassica greens like Mustards Chois & Collards, radish, beets, baby carrots, cilantro, rhubarb, baby broccoli then we transition into early summer with the first zucchini and patty pan squash, kohlrabi, cauliflower, napa cabbage, then cucumber, cherry tomatoes, slicing tomatoes, peppers as summer is in full swing. We will also be adding berries to our shares this year
By Fall we have our winter squash, garlic, onions, shallots, watermelon, cantaloupe, still going with tomatoes peppers and cucumbers into November, then carrots and beets come back with full season brassicas like broccoli, cauliflower, kohlrabi, and more fall winter greens as spinach arugula and baby greens start to taste their sweetest again.
With our CSA weekly food box you have an opportunity to eat the best local food that Nova Scotia has to offer in their optimal season, meaning the crops we provide will always taste their best for you :) if you have any more questions please reach out to me directly.
